The Magic of… Szechuan
Sera presents an exclusive evening with John Javier at The Tent (at the End of the Universe) for the ultimate Szechuan experience.
John Javier was the owner and head chef of the Sydney based restaurant, MASTER which closed its doors in 2016 - a restaurant Noma's Rene Redzepi labelled as one of his favourites in Australia. Since then, he moved to Hong Kong and opened the critically acclaimed Happy Paradise which was filmed on Anthony Bourdain's 'Parts Unknown' and featured in TIME Magazine's '100 Greatest Places on Earth'.
John will be showing ‘the magic of Szechuan’ at Little Portland Street, a members only club in the heart of London. Guests will dine on a family style feast curated by John. Using his creativity and flair, showcasing some of the world’s finest ingredients, Javier will reveal the many flavours of Szechuan cuisine. Think decadent wagyu paired with the complexity of sichuan spices. It will be a night of bold flavour, talent and surroundings - one not to be missed.
Like other Sera events, you may be seated with other friendly guests. Due to the intricacy of the menu on offer, we are unable to cater to dietary restrictions on the night.
