The Magic of... Surf and Turf with Quality Chop House & Bentley's
On May 17th, join us at Bentley’s Oyster Bar & Grill for surf and turf like you've never seen before. For one night only, culinary titans, Richard Corrigan and Shaun Searley are joining forces on a multi-course feast that unites the freshest seafood from the UK’s shores with the highest-grade breeds of Britain’s grass-fed fare.
With a restaurant empire that spans some of London’s finest seafood spots - Bentley’s, Daffodil Mulligan and Corrigan’s Mayfair (to name a few) - Richard Corrigan knows a thing or two about fish. Add two Michelin Stars, four Great British Menu wins, and caterer to the Queen and Concorde to his impressive resume, and it’s clear to see why he’s one of the UK’s most established and well-known Irish chefs.
Shaun Searley meanwhile is the master in grass-fed fare. Head chef at Quality Chop House since 2012, he is an expert in nose-to-tail cooking having headed up Bistrotheque’s kitchen prior, and trained under Peter Weeden at the Paternoster Chophouse. Searley’s ethos mirrors that of Corrigan’s: he has an unwavering passion for using only the finest produce from the best suppliers in the British Isles.
Both experts in their field, both also custodians of centuries-old institutions. Bentley’s has been purveyor of oysters, champagne and seafood since 1916 with legendary clients including Charlie Chaplin and Oscar Wilde. QCH has been a stalwart on Farringdon Road for even longer: one of London's longest-running establishments, it first opened its doors in 1869. With heritage like this behind our headliners’ haunts, you can guarantee this dinner will be a masterclass in the art of surf and turf.
Tickets cost £95 and include four multi-dish sharing courses and service. Due to the layout of the space, you may be seated with other friendly members on the night. We are unable to cater to dietary requirements on this occasion
