Sera x Modal Wines II - The Winter Season

Following the success of our first tasting with Modal Wines, we return for our next edition shaped by the winter season. This time, the focus is on how the wines we drink, and the way we drink them, evolve with the colder months. From the bottles poured at restaurants in December to those opened around the table at home, this is a look at how seasonality influences taste, pairing, and pleasure.

The experience: You'll taste over 10+ low-intervention wines with a welcome drink on arrival.

Across the evening, guests will explore a range of Festive Favourites that reflect the rhythm of the season; structured reds, textured whites, grower Champagne, and the occasional surprise. The conversation will be led by how Modal’s restaurant partners build their lists through the year, and why certain styles shine when the days turn cold.

Hosted by Modal Wines, one of the UK’s most respected importers of low-intervention and artisanal wines. Their portfolio champions small, independent growers working organically and biodynamically, supplying some of London’s most forward-thinking restaurants including Kol, Kiln, Trullo, Manteca, AngloThai, and Oma.

To close, guests will have the opportunity to purchase any of the wines tasted at exclusive trade pricing for 24 hours after the event, the perfect way to take a little of the evening home and build your cellar for the winter months ahead! Alongside premium bottles to share with your nearest and dearest, the team will also showcase great value wines to impress and set the mood for the season’s larger gatherings.
