Longboys x Cue Point
Longboys handmade finger doughnut rolled in spiced sugar, oak-smoked pulled lamb shoulder, candi flossed lamb rib with jalapeño pistachio sugar, frosted crushed pistachios, and tamarind BBQ sauce.
Longboys and Cue Point are teaming up to create the ultimate pulled lamb doughnut. Longboys, the viral doughnut company created by award winning pastry chef Graham Hornigold, are stepping away from their usual sweet treats to create a more savoury version of their classic Longboys’ dough. BBQ legends Cue Point, co-owned by Mursal Saiq and Joshua Moroney, have taken the London BBQ scene by storm and will be smoking the meat to complete these savoury treats.
Graham Hornigold has spent the last twenty-eight years honing his skills in some of the finest hotels and restaurants in London – from the Park Lane Hotel to The Mandarin Oriental, before being made the executive pastry chef at The Lanesborough Hotel. Graham was named UK Pastry Chef of the Year in 2007 before starting Longboys in 2019.
Joshua Moroney, former head chef of SMOKESTAK, spent over a decade in BBQ restaurants perfecting his skills before launching Cue Point with Mursal Saiq. Mursal takes culinary inspiration from her family’s Afghan heritage and the culmination of different influences neighbouring countries have had on Afghan cuisine. Their inventive and adventurous flavours paired with Graham Hornigold’s delicate and delicious doughnuts makes for a combination of dreams.
