Following the sold-out success of our first speakeasy event, we’re excited to announce Part II of “If I had a… Hong Kong Speakeasy” back at two-Michelin-starred A. Wong - with a fresh menu and format - hosted at The Forbidden City Bar tucked secretly beneath the restaurant.

For two exclusive nights, on Friday April 4th and Saturday April 5th, this intimate space will once again be transformed—this time in collaboration with The Orientalist Spirits and renowned mixologist Lola Lau.

The Orientalist is an ultra-premium all-Asian craft spirits brand renowned for its meticulously sourced ingredients and award-winning distillations. Bringing a decade of expertise in spirits from China and Southeast Asia, Lola Lau will craft signature cocktails that showcase The Orientalist’s exceptional range. Each creation will be thoughtfully paired with a bespoke menu curated by chef patron Andrew Wong, promising an immersive culinary and cocktail experience.

Tucked away from the bustling streets of Pimlico and Victoria, The Forbidden City Bar will come alive with the energy of a world-class drinking and dining experience—where cocktails meet Michelin-starred flavors and guests gather for two evenings of discovery and indulgence.

A ticket includes 7 dishes from Andrew’s specially curated snack menu. A full cocktail offering from Lola Lau and The Orientalist will be available for purchase on the night.
