If I had a... 'Chappett's Café' by Kitchen Table

The second of our “If I had a…” series. Kitchen Table owners, and husband and wife James Knappet and Sandia Chang realise ‘Chappett's Café’.

An idea conceived in the comfort of their own kitchen. Almost exclusively cooking Asian at home, for two nights they transform two Michelin star Kitchen Table’s dining experience for Sera members.

Experience a 12-course Asian tasting menu by the husband and wife team, with experience at Per Se, Noma, Rick Stein and Gordon Ramsay. They’re also no strangers to having a bit of fun. Who remembers Bubbledogs?

Dining at Kitchen Table is always an experience, and this will be no different. You’ll be taken on a bit of a journey, starting with canapés in the lounge before moving through to the ‘theatre’ of the Kitchen Table. This allows the chefs to explain the passion and process behind every course, as you would cooking with friends in your own kitchen.

James and Sandia have requested the menu be kept under wraps - all we know is this is a unique opportunity to see one of the UK’s top restaurants step outside their wheelhouse and lay on something very special. Due to the intricacy of the menu on offer, we are unable to cater to dietary restrictions on the night.
