Hard Hat: Ralphie's

87 Pimlico Rd, London SW1W 8PH, UK

£67.00

Ralphie's is Tom Booton's first solo restaurant after The Dorchester, opening on Pimlico Road later this year. On Saturday 21 November, Tom and his team open the restaurant for Sera members before it opens to the public.

RALPHIE’S

Situated on Pimlico Road in Belgravia, it’s a neighbourhood restaurant that feels like it has been there for years: a dark, warm dining room, with lighting and mirrors from nearby design house Jamb, and antiques Tom found in auction houses around the country. Downstairs, The Den seats fourteen around a walnut table overlooking the kitchen, with records from Tom’s own collection.

TOM BOOTON

Tom trained in the Michelin-starred kitchens of Alyn Williams at The Westbury and Ollie Dabbous, before taking over The Grill at The Dorchester in 2019, the youngest chef to run it in the restaurant’s history. That’s where he made his name, cooking British classics with a playful touch and building the menu around the best of British produce.

THE FOOD

Tom has put together a special menu for the night. It starts with Ralphie’s bread, butter and soup, then starters to share; among them crispy cod cheek scampi, and Westholme Wagyu Beef tartare with potato crisps and confit yolk. Mains are a choice of two, one of them Westholme wagyu beef fillet au poivre, with sides for the table. Two puddings to choose from, including the vanilla soft serve sandwich with hazelnut and fudge sauce.

GOOD TO KNOW

This event is in partnership with Westholme Wagyu. The beef across the menu, from the tartare to the fillet main, is their Australian Wagyu, raised across 16 million acres of open rangeland in Queensland and the Northern Territory.

The rosé on the night comes from our partners Château Galoupet, a Cru Classé estate in Provence farmed regeneratively among protected woodland, making a beautiful rosé with the weight to sit alongside Tom’s cooking on a November night.

Due to the unique nature of this event, we are unable to accommodate dietary restrictions or menu substitutions. Tickets are non-refundable.
