On Easter Monday, 6 April, Bar Shrimp takes over Sune for the first event in the Sera, Sune & Friends series.

For one day, Manchester lands in East London. Bar Shrimp, the seafood and cocktail bar from the team behind Higher Ground, Flawd and Cinderwood Market Garden, brings its British seafood cooking and bar led energy to London for a single service at Sune.

Sune is run by husband and wife duo Honey Spencer and Charlie Sims. Honey is one of the most respected figures in wine in the UK and author of the best selling book Natural Wine, No Drama. Charlie’s background includes managing Brunswick House, Lyle’s and Brawn, as well as years spent as restaurant manager at Noma in Copenhagen. Together, they have created one of East London’s most sought after dining rooms, defined by serious wine and hospitality that feels rare in the city.

The partnership between Sune and Bar Shrimp is rooted in long standing friendships. Charlie of Sune first met Daniel Craig Martin while working together at Noma. The wider Bar Shrimp team, Joseph Otway, Richard Cossins and Daniel formed their partnership at Blue Hill at Stone Barns in New York under Dan Barber.

The menu will be served à la carte, built primarily around Bar Shrimp’s British seafood dishes, with a handful of Sune favourites woven through.

Bar Shrimp is known for bringing drinks, seafood and sound together in one room. That same spirit travels to Sune for this opening night.

A £25 per person non refundable deposit is required to secure your reservation, which will be deducted from your final bill on the night.
