On 26 June, for one night only, Barcelona-based burger-joint Fast Eddie’s is coming to London – teaming up with Wine Bar beneath Farm Shop in Mayfair for a Backyard BBQ. A riff on the classic cookout, expect tavern-style burgers, crispy bites and cold drinks – all housed in one of Mayfair’s sexiest wine bars.

Born out of the Covid lockdown, Fast Eddies (Eddie White) used to serve 20 burgers a day every Wednesday out of his flat in Barcelona. Fast forward a couple of years, and Fast Eddie’s has become one of Europe’s most quietly influential burger joints. They’ll be cooking a signature tavern-style burger using dry-aged beef sourced directly from Durslade Farm – Farm Shop’s working farm in Somerset. Expect foraged ingredients from the green pastures of the South West, alongside artisan cheeses from local suppliers.

Wine Bar is a moody, speakeasy-esque hideaway located beneath Farm Shop in Mayfair. Run by the Art Farm group – whose portfolio includes Mount St. Restaurant, The Audley Public House, and The Fife Arms – Wine Bar is one of London’s best-kept secrets (unless you follow TopJaw, of course). But for one night, the rules slip when the lights drop and the grill kicks off. It’s a little louder, a little boozier, and a little later.

This may be your first and only chance to see Fast Eddie become Posh Eddie.
The menu is rooted in the nostalgia of American cookouts, but with unexpected finesse: crisp potato pavé bites dressed as tater tots, buffalo-style chicken, fried pickles, a loaded-wedge salad, and a cookie ice cream sandwich to finish.

There’s no dress code. No lawn games. Just great food, great wine, and a room full of people who know the difference between a good burger and a remarkable one.
